The regular models of Silicon Metal includes: Silicon #2202, Silicon #3303, Silicon #441, Silicon #553.

 Amang them, silicon metal 553 are the most common one that wes used in  Steelmaking and Aluminum Alloying as deoxidzer and Silicon additive.Its silicon content is 98.5% and above. 

 Silicon Metal with silicon content lower than that, was regarded as Off-Grade Silicon.

Off Grade Silicon Metal, also called as Low Grade Silicon Metal, Silicon Metal Slag, Silicon Metal Dross, is a very good substitute of silicon metal 553. It can be used as:

1. Dioxidizer in steelmaking as replacement of ferrosilicon or high purity silicon metal. 

2. Aluminum alloy ingot production, as additive of silicon. 

3. Materials of silicon briquette.

4. Other replacement of higher grade silicon metal, metallurgical, chemical or other industries, with its much cheaper price.
